Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25, 1970) is an American former football tight end. Gonzalez played in the National Football League from 1997 to 2003. The NFL's most efficient tight ends as well as the third best overall receiver, he has been named the NFL's leading tight end in terms of receptions, yards he has received, achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst on FOX Sports Studio. Gonzalez, who has been on FOX NFL KICKOFF since the last year, hosts the show's host. The show airs on Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET, before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez, who had said to retire by the end of 2013, opted on March 15 to sign a 2-year agreement worth $14 million to stay at the Falcons. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012, as did Gonzalez (37 year old) was the NFL's leading receiver.
